Marie K. Gutgesell

Marie is a food web ecologist who uses a combination of empirical and mathematical approaches to understand food web responses to global change. She is particularly interested in applying food web approaches to understanding the sustainability of food systems. Marie's research focuses on diverse food production methods and systems, including freshwater aquaculture, agriculture, and wild food systems in Alaska.
