María de la O Ruiz Rodríguez

María de la O Ruiz Rodríguez (she/her), Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Córdoba, has been an assistant professor in the Department of English and German Philology since 2021. She holds a Bachelor's in English Philology and two Master's degrees in English for Professional Qualification and Secondary Education. Her research explores gender, Queer theory, Gothic literature, and feminist criticism, with publications on virtual mobility and gamification in English teaching. Active in teaching innovation, she teaches courses on cultural studies and supervises theses. She has completed academic stays at institutions in the UK, Ireland, and Greece, enhancing her international teaching and research expertise.
