Marguerite Hawke is a Research Officer at the Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC), at La Trobe University, where she is mentored by Associate Professor Josephine Barbaro who leads the Early Identification research program. Her area of interest is neurodivergence in children and infants, which is complimented by her lived experience, both in these life periods and across the lifespan. She is currently completing her Masters of Psychological Practice, as a part of her later-in-life career change, and has previous qualifications in Professional Writing and Psychology (BA, GrapDipPsych). Her first children's picture book will be released in early 2027.
