Margret Grebowicz

Margret Grebowicz is the Maxwell C. Weiner Distinguished Professor of Humanities and Professor of Philosophy at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Grebowicz specializes in environmental philosophy, contemporary French philosophy, and feminist theory. She is the author of six books including "Mountains and Desire: Climbing vs. the End of the World," Whale Song," and "Rescue me: On Dogs and Their Humans." Her recent essays have appeared in Sierra, The Atlantic, Slate, and the New Yorker. Grebowicz is the founding series editor of Practices, a book series from Duke University Press.
