Margaret Maynard

Associate Professor Margaret Maynard PhD is Honorary Research Consultant, School of Communication and Arts, The University of Queensland. Trained at the Courtauld Institute of Art, she is one of Australia’s foremost dress historians, publishing four books the most recent Dressed in Time and numerous articles on dress and fashion. Editor, Vol. 7, ‘Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands’, Berg Encyclopedia of World Dress and Fashion, 2010. On the Advisory Board of Fashion in Action a new series for Bloomsbury publishers UK.
