Marco Zenone (he/him) is an Assistant Professor of Health Science Communication at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ottawa. He completed his PhD in Public Health & Policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. He then completed his postdoctoral training as a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs, University of British Columbia. His research program focuses on analyzing the health disinformation economy, with an emphasis on cancer and digital platforms. As well, he leads active research into understanding how public health topics are portrayed in online and public spaces. His research program is guided by the commercial determinants of health.
