Marcel Llavero-Pasquina

I graduated with a PhD in Plant Sciences from the University of Cambridge in 2021. Since 2022 I am a researcher with the Global Atlas of Environmental Justice (ejatlas.org) at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (ICTA-UAB). I have been involved in climate justice campaigns in several european countries, and also internationally. I combine my activist role with my academic interest in the environmental conflicts of large oil and gas companies and the political ecology of firms.
