- PhD student at the Cervo Brain Research Centre, Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS)
I focused during my MSc in collaboration with CNRS (France) and INRS (Québec) on the nanoplastics toxicity towards aquatic organisms. To that end, I studied different physico-chemical properties of nanoplastics in a environmentally representative experimental design and monitored their genes expression impacts.
My current research as a PhD student at CERVO in collaboration with INSPQ aims to develop zebrafish larvae as a model to identify the methylmercury effects on neuronal activities and microbiome composition, in parallel with assessing the selenoneine protective potential towards methylmercury toxicity.
