Makoto Harris Takao

Makoto is a Ph.D. candidate based at the University of Western Australia in the school of Music and Humanities. He is concurrently involved with the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions, contributing the 'Jesuit Emotions Project'. In addition to being the vice president for the Musicological Society of Australia (WA Chapter), Makoto is also an active proponent of historically-informed musical performance and the production of rare and unknown musical works.
