Maja Brandt Andreasen is an AHRC-funded PhD student at the University of Stirling.

With a background in Gender Studies and Feminist Theory she conducts research on online misogyny with a particular focus on rape threats and rape jokes. Her PhD research aims to outline a rape discourse on social media and her research investigates the normalisation of violent and humorous language use within a rape culture.
