Madison Lavergne is the Project Coordinator for the Social Prescribing Allyship and Community Engagement for Health (SPACE for Health) at Queen's University's School of Nursing. She has years of hands-on experience in healthcare settings (family medicine, long-term care and tertiary care), where she has planned and implemented quality improvement strategies. Madison possesses knowledge and practical skills in investigating social determinants of health at the systemic level, identifying significant patient results in large electronic medical records, navigating community/social service systems, and enhancing patient and workplace outcomes. Madison holds a Masters degree in Public Health from Queen’s University and has received awards from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, Canadian Frailty Network, Mathematics of Information Technology and Complex Systems (MITACS), and Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
