Madhu Neupane Bastola

I am from Nepal. I have three master's degrees: (a) Master of Education with a specialization in English from Tribhuvan University, (b) Master of Arts in English Literature from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and (c) Master of Education (TESOL) from the University of Sydney, Australia. I did my PhD from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

I worked as an assistant professor at the Central Department of Education at Tribhuvan University, Nepal, for more than a decade. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of English and Communication, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. My research focuses on academic writing, graduate research and supervision, language policy, student engagement, and motivation. I am currently working on a project related to health communication, with data involving migrant workers in Hong Kong with cancer.
