Madeleine S. Killacky is a medievalist and specialises in fifteenth-century material culture and the History of the Book. She holds degrees in English literature and Biology and has published a number of articles for History Today, The Conversation, and Conservation Physiology.

Madeleine has presented her research at over twenty-five conferences nationally and internationally and she is a member of the Royal Historical Society and Royal Society of Biology.
