Madeleine J. Meyer

Madeleine J. Meyer is a postgraduate student in the Theology and the Arts program at the University of St. Andrews. Her current research concerns how a Christologically informed sense of beauty informs how we see the world and how we live in it. She is also interested in the role of myth in theological thinking, the religious impulses of modern art, the historical development of Christian doctrine, theological anthropology, sacramental theology, and approaches to the problem of evil.

She has spoken on the theological significance of YA fiction at The Pulse of Twilight conference and Vincent van Gogh’s theology at Hutchmoot UK.
