Lynrose Jane Genon

Lynrose Jane Genon is a PhD candidate at the Digital Media Research Centre, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. Her doctoral research, titled “Digital Peacebuilding: Examining Young Women Leaders' Use of Social Media to Build Peace in the Philippines,” explores how young women leverage social media platforms to build everyday peace. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Culture and Arts Studies. Her research interests include youth, gender, peace, and digital media and communication.
