I am a scholar of U.S. Religious History with a focus on relationship between religion and popular culture. My research focuses on the relationship between medium and message as can be seen in both books (Romancing God: Evangelical Women and Inspirational Fiction; Religion in Vogue: Christianity and Fashion in America) and articles on T-shirts, religious intolerance, etc. My research now focuses on the religion, dress, and fashion, and I have established a publicly accessible research-based website on the topic: fashioningfaith.wfu.edu
