- Psychologist, University of Cape Town
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist currently working at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust within the paediatric cystic fibrosis, respiratory medicine, and gastroenterology teams. I hold a PhD jointly awarded by the University of Bristol and the University of Cape Town, where my research explored how exposure to violence affects children’s mental health and cognition. I also hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Cape Town.
My experience includes work in South Africa across public and private healthcare, as well as community settings. I have provided psychological support to children and adults with complex medical and mental health conditions, alongside therapeutic work with parents and infants. My background also includes contributing to research teams investigating child developmental outcomes, lecturing and supervising early-career clinicians in neuropsychology, and developing community-based psychological interventions and training programmes for caregivers and educators.
