Lucia Berdondini

I am an Associate Professor at the University of East London, specialising in psychosocial humanitarian intervention, intercultural counselling, and existential therapy. I lead the MSc Humanitarian Intervention (Distance Learning). My research focuses on trauma, wellbeing, and culturally sensitive counselling in conflict and post-conflict settings, with experience in Afghanistan, Ukraine, and beyond. I also work as a Gestalt psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, supporting humanitarian workers and NGOs globally.
