Dr Lucas Calais Ferreira is a Suicide Prevention Australia Postdoctoral Fellow in the Centre for Mental Health and Community Wellbeing, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne, and the Centre for Adolescent Health, Murdoch Children's Research Institute and Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne. He has an honorary appointment with the Justice Health Group at the enAble Institute, Curtin University. His research focuses on social determinants and their impact on people's lives, particularly for young people involved in the justice system.
