I'm a doctoral student conducting ethnographic research on conservation encounters and human–environment relations among the Batak people in North Sumatra, Indonesia. I have more than eight years of research experience at the intersection of social sciences and nature conservation and collaborate with practitioners to implement ethnographic approaches in conservation practices.
