Dr Lubabalo Mofu is an instrument Scientist at the National Research Foundation-South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity (NRF-SAIAB). He uses both experimental and modelling approaches to determine the environmental impacts of stressors such as alien species, shifting climate, and pollution on freshwater ecosystem functioning, which inform policy and decision-making pertaining to the management and sustainable use of natural resources and ecosystems.
