Louise Starkey

Louise is a passionate educator and researcher dedicated to exploring the intersection of education and technology in a rapidly evolving world. Her work focuses on understanding the policy and pedagogical implications of technology infusion in schooling and higher education. Her teaching philosophy focuses on enabling students to become future educators, teachers, and researchers. She integrates research to challenge thinking and assumptions, applying frameworks and emerging research of teaching, learning, and education in the digital age into program and course design.

Louise has a substantial record of successful research higher degree student supervision and completions and was named Australia's top researcher 2026 in the field of Teaching and Teacher Education by The Australian's Research Magazine. She is currently program director for the MTeach.
