Louis Bromfield

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Politics at Swansea University. I am principally interested in digital politics, focussing on gamification (about which I am authoring a book with Palgrave), political forecasting and social media, as well as UK and US elections and campaigns.

I hold a PhD in Politics, an MSc in Computer Science ), and a BA in Politics, all from Swansea University. My PhD research was on the gamification of political forecasting, where I created Horse Race Politics, a gamified forecasting platform that I am now developing alongside Focus Games, a gamification company based in Glasgow. I also co-host the Horse Race Politics podcast with Professor Matthew Wall, and hold an Associate Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy, and have completed several courses on quantitative methods.
