My research explores new ways of understanding how we know, especially the aspects of experience that can’t easily be put into words.
I use creative inquiry as both a method and a guiding principle. This means I approach research through artistic, imaginative, concept-driven and collaborative practices to open up, ethically and with care, different ways of thinking and feeling.
My research is shaped by neuroqueering and the transrational - philosophical approaches with different histories but a shared commitment to challenging norms about how people ‘should’ think, communicate, or be. I use these approaches to question neuronormativity, and to support ways of knowing that are emotional, embodied, collective, aesthetic, and often unsayable.
