Linda Tuncay Zayer

Linda Tuncay Zayer, PhD (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) is Professor of Marketing, Department Chair, and the Smith Chair of Business Administration at the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago. She publishes in the top journals in her field, including European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Macromarketing, Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Service Research and others. She regularly engages with the media, having appeared in various outlets across radio, television, podcasts, and newspapers, including the Washington Post, the New York Times and Forbes. She is co-editor of the book, Gender, Culture, and Consumer Behavior (Routledge) as the editor of the forthcoming book, Transformative Advertising Research: Driving Positive Social Change and Well-Being (Edward Elgar Publishing).

She is passionate about engaging with multiple stakeholders and bridging academia, industry and non-profits. She serves on various boards including the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) SeeHer Education Board and the ANA Brand Practice Advisory Board, the advisory board for GENMAC (Gender, Markets and Consumers) as well as on several editorial review boards for various journals. She also engages in consulting through her company, tealeaf consulting inc., working with clients to utilize the power of data and storytelling.
