Linda Lane

Linda Lane, Ed.D., is a principal lecturer in the Department of Recreation and Sport Management in the Conway Medical Center College of Health and Human Performance at Coastal Carolina University. She joined CCU in August 2013 shortly after graduating from the University of Arkansas.

Prior to her doctoral program, Lane considers herself a recreation practitioner, having worked in a variety of positions throughout her professional career. Those positions include, but are not limited to, park ranger, youth activities programmer, interim aquatics superintendent, and resorts manager, among others. She believes each of her previous positions has given her experience and knowledge in a wide variety of areas that translate into the classroom as real-world examples.
