I'm a historian whose scholarship and research interests include Latina health activism, reproductive justice, care, population control ideology, reproductive violence, white supremacy, white nationalism, white demographic decline, and immigration.

I received my doctorate in Borderlands History at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in 2016. In 2011, I received an M.A. in history from UTEP, and a B.A. in History and Raza Studies from San Francisco State University in 2007. UNPC Press published my first book, Fighting for Control: Reproductive Care, Race, and Power in the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands, in 2025.
