Universities need to resist the urge to treat difficult conversations as too controversial. Antisemitism must be recognized as a form of racism, not merely religious intolerance.
The silence of some Canadian universities in addressing antisemitism, in particular when considered alongside active approaches toward equity and racial justice, needs to be addressed.
International students frequently face challenges finding suitable places to live. Instead of blaming them, the government should be helping them.
