Lidia de la Iglesia Aza

Lidia de la Iglesia Aza holds a law degree from the University of Oviedo and has earned three master’s degrees in various fields.
She has worked as a is a labour lawyer with over 25 years of experience, 16 of which she spent working as a lawyer for the Comisiones Obreras workers union.
In 2022, she defended her dissertation to earn a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Santiago de Compostela, where she currently teaches.
Her scholarly output includes over 30 contributions, comprising articles and book chapters. She has focused on the legal framework governing statutory personnel, the special circumstances of working women (breastfeeding, abortion, menstruation, and menopause) in the labor market, and equality and oversight of algorithms in human resources management.

She has completed research stays at the Complutense University of Madrid, the University of Cagliari, and the University of Miskolc
