Dr. Liam Wignall is a senior lecturer in Psychology at the University of Brighton. Using qualitative research methods, he explores the identities and experiences of non-heterosexual individuals related to: kink, BDSM, and fetishes; pornography consumption; drag subcultures; non-exclusive sexualities; and sexual consent. His book, Kinky in the Digital Age, with Oxford University Press, explores how the internet has impacted how gay and bisexual men engage with kink. He is co-editor of the journal Psychology & Sexuality, and co-editor of the Oxford University Press book series Sexuality, Identity, and Society.
