I research motivation and emotions in achievement contexts like school, sport, and counselling. Currently my main program of research explores ways to revise assessments to better support student and instructor wellbeing through psychological principles. My PhD is in social psychology and I approach methods as a pragmatist, using a wide range of methodologies to bring evidence to bear on the question.
