Lena Knappert

Lena Knappert works as an Assistant Professor at the department of Management and Organization at VU University in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Lena is an expert in context-sensitive and comparative perspectives on HRM, diversity, and inclusion, global diversity management, diversity and inclusion in the start-up ecosystem, and in multi-level perspectives.

In recent years, Lena has specialized especially in the inclusion and exclusion of refugees in countries and organizations. She has authored a number of high-impact articles in scientific journals, and co-organized a two-day event for scientists and practitioners on refugee inclusion.
