Fascinated by the fascination with the Regency as made manifest by wild enthusiasm for Bridgerton, but write about how wrtiers responded to the Regency as a spectacle unfolding before their eyes.
I am currently working on a monograph that examines how literature responded to this extraordinarily distinct but extremely narrow slice of British history.
