My current work focuses on leveraging exercise and nutrition to optimise health, enhance performance, and promote longevity. I completed my PhD in Molecular Exercise Physiology at Dundee University (2005–2009), followed by a postdoctoral research role at Dundee Medical School (2009–2012). From 2012 to 2018, I I was a lecturer at Stirling University, where I developed expertise in sports nutrition and exercise science. Since joining Deakin University in 2018, my research has centred on exploring and developing evidence-based strategies to improve performance and health across the lifespan.
