Leah Kardos

Leah Kardos is an Australian musician, writer and academic living and working in London. She is currently employed full time as a senior lecturer in music at Kingston University where she co-founded the Visconti Studio in 2016, a professional recording, research and teaching facility.

Her research interests include technology and the arts of music production, 20th and 21st century music history, aesthetics, and criticism, and analysing interdisciplinary approaches to creative practice. She has published books about the music of David Bowie and Kate Bush with Bloomsbury Academic, is a regular contributor to The Wire magazine, and is an associate editor of the Journal of Popular Music Studies (JPMS).
