Dr Le Wen is a Senior Lecturer at the Economics Department, University of Auckland, holding a PhD in Economics. Le's research expertise spans theoretical and applied economics, energy economics, energy modeling, and advanced data analysis. These skills are applied to address contemporary energy challenges facing New Zealand's business sectors, policy makers, and communities. Given the current emphasis on transitioning to a net-zero economy, Le's work is particularly relevant. Le’s research interests include renewable energy, the wind-hydro nexus, green hydrogen, energy efficiency, energy consumption, and electricity prices.
