Lauren Warner-Treloar

I am an art historian, curator and translator specialising in Ukrainian print culture, graphic design, and book history. I am an AHRC Techne-funded PhD candidate in Art and Design History at Kingston University. My research explores visual identity and experimental book culture in Ukraine and across East-Central and Eastern Europe in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. In 2026, I was selected to participate in the Translating Ukraine Summer Institute (TUSI). I also develop curatorial projects that connect academic scholarship with wider audiences, including a digital exhibition for Art UK and Dorich House Museum. I serve as co-chair of the British Association for the Study of Ukraine (BASU)'s Arts and Culture Working Group.
