Lauren Cortis

(She/her)

I’m a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at Adelaide University and a registered pharmacist with more than 20 years’ experience across hospital, primary care, and end-of-life care. My work focuses on helping people make informed, person-centred decisions about medicines and healthcare.

I teach in the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacist Prescribing and my research explores quality use of medicines, prescribing policy, pharmaceutical culture, and the social and health system factors that shape how medicines are used in everyday life.
