After a B.A in Humanities in Paris, I went to Cape Town as a French tutor for a study exchange programme. My Master’s dissertations focussed on the links between Victorian painting and literature, enabling me to publish in an article about fairy painting in the Journal des Arts (December 2012). I completed my education in Museum Studies at the University of Westminster by participating in several projects and events management at the V&A, Tate and Museum of London, before mounting an exhibition (“People are Strange/ When You’re a Stranger”) for my graduation with three fellow-students. I am now a licensed tour guide specialised in 19th century visual culture, museum displays and gender issues. I also teach Art History and English for non-specialists at Université Paris-Nanterre. My PhD is on the creative agency of women artists in Victorian Britain and the French Second Empire.
