I am a Senior Lecturer in Management at the University of Queensland. My research agenda investigates how people survive and thrive in complex contexts, including organisations and workplaces, mass events, and healthcare systems.

My research is informed by the social identity approach. Major contributions have delivered a better understanding of what drives people to follow norms, take risks, endure pain, seek help, or keep silent. I am also a practising Clinical Psychologist and registered health practitioner.
