Laura Gormley

Dr. Laura Gormley is an assistant professor in the School of Inclusive and Special Education in Dublin City University (DCU). She is currently programme chair of the Graduate Certificate in Autism Education, which is fully funded by the Department of Education. Laura is an internationally published author, who is actively engaged in research that elevates the voices of marginalised groups (e.g., neurodivergent learners, learners with complex access needs) and strives to improve educational provision, nationally and internationally. Alongside her academic role, Laura is also engaged in professional, hands-on work supporting young autistic learners and their educators.
