Laura Donnellan

I am an Associate Professor in Law at the University of Limerick. I graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in 2001, a Master of Laws in 2002 and a PhD in 2019. I have been lecturing for 23 years and teach mainly in the areas of EU Law and Sport and the Law. My research areas are Sport and the Law, Animals and the Law and the regulation of animal cruelty in sport. In 2025, my book titled Sport and the Law, 2nd edition was published by Clarus Press.
