Laura is a physical oceanographer studying the global-scale ocean circulation and its role in regulating the climate system. In particular, her research focuses on (I) the exchange rate of tracers between the surface and ocean interior, and (II) the dynamics of the interior waters, which constitute the largest reservoirs of heat and carbon.
