Kymberley Oakley

(She/Her)

Kymberley is a proud Malgana woman and educator with over 20 years of experience across all educational settings — from early childhood and primary through to higher education and community learning. Holding a Master of Indigenous Languages Education and a Bachelor of Education (Primary), she brings both rigorous academic grounding and deep practical expertise to her specialisation in Aboriginal education.

Her work centres on the teaching of Aboriginal culture and knowledges, culturally informed practice, and the authentic inclusion of Aboriginal perspectives across the curriculum. Kymberley draws on professional expertise and lived experience to advance truth-telling and foster substantive, respectful relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples — work she regards as fundamental to meaningful educational reform.
