Kyara Liu

Kyara is a PhD candidate at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. She obtained her Master's of Public Health (MPH) in Social and Behavioural Health Sciences from University of Toronto (2024) and Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of British Columbia (2022).

Kyara's research interests include gender-based violence, women's health, health systems innovation, and the intersection of health and technology. Her PhD research examines sex trafficking care in Ontario emergency departments.
