Kristofer Allerfeldt

I am a historian working for the University of Exeter. I specialise in trying to get to grips with what drove deviancy, bigotry and crime in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century America. This has given me an interest in hate groups - especially the KKK - organised crime and slavery and more recently the Hippie Counter-Culture of the 1960s. I am also interested in the USA's relationships with its neighbours and how these have changed since the founding of the nation.
