Kris Hans is a PhD student in Transdisciplinary Research at the University of Calgary, where his work focuses on artificial intelligence in the workplace. Since 2005 he has taught more than 200 courses across business management, communication, creativity, design thinking, entrepreneurship, and marketing. In Creativity in the Workplace, students examine what creativity is, analyze personal strengths, and use proven tools to produce meaningful improvements in workplace contexts. Kris is Co-Founder and Strategist at Market Grade, a consultancy in design, innovation, marketing, and strategy, and has advised organizations from early-stage ventures to multinationals. He also served as the first Entrepreneur in Residence at W21C in the O’Brien Institute of Public Health, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. Kris continues to work with students and start-up ventures to help grow their businesses and diversify the Alberta economy.
