• Associate Professor in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Male Health & Wellbeing, Flinders University

I am an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men’s health researcher with extensive experience in Indigenous health, primary health care, health services research and community-led approaches to improving health and wellbeing. My work focuses particularly on understanding how health systems can better engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and provide care that is accessible, culturally safe, relevant and responsive to their needs.

I have worked closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, health services, researchers and policymakers across a range of projects examining men’s health, primary care access and social and emotional wellbeing. A central focus of my research is translating evidence into practical changes in health services and policy, while ensuring the priorities, experiences and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people remain at the centre of the work.
