Konstantinos is a Senior Lecturer in International Tourism Management and has worked at the University of Strathclyde Business School since 2006. He gained his PhD in Volunteer Tourism at the University of Strathclyde and he also holds a Masters Degree in Tourism in Third World Countries. He predominantly teaches tourism-related subjects, but also business ethics in the context of commoditised forms of tourism. His research focuses on different tourism niches and his expertise lies in the field of international volunteer tourism.
In brief, his research generates empirical and theoretical knowledge about the temporal dynamics of tourism phenomena and the tourists as consumers of marketized experiences.
