I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at IU Kokomo with expertise in transition economies. My earlier work includes co-authored manuscripts on how Estonia and Poland transitioned from socialism to market economies. Currently, I research the political economy of war and autocracy, exploring two key questions: how autocrats use propaganda to maintain power, and what strategies they deploy during war to avoid accountability for failures.
